We are
registered and professionally accredited by the British Association of
Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy – BABCP, as well as the European
Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – EACBT. This means that our Irish
and European clients can gain full access to specialist OCD, Trauma, Panic
Disorder and relationship therapy without the geographical restrictions of
living outside the UK.
We are
fully qualified and trained to the highest recognized UK standards and regularly
attend specialist training to maintain our clinical skills and knowledge.
In addition
to specialist Post-graduate and Masters level training in Cognitive Behavioural
Therapy, We have advanced level training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy,
(ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
and other evidence based approaches including EMDR.
In the UK, we
are required to demonstrate clinical knowledge and practice by completing an
annual reaccreditation process. This
means that you always work with a UK qualified CBT expert with up to date
clinical skills and knowledge.
Over the last fifteen years or so, we have provided specialist OCD and trauma focused CBT to clients based in Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain and Sweden. We always
start the process with a 15 minute introductory call with a member of our
clinical team. If we are confident that we can help and after answering any
questions, we send an appointment confirmation including relevant
pre-assessment measures.
At the
first appointment, we complete an assessment of the presenting problem,
identify any relevant background issues, discuss psychological maintenance
factors and talk about the most effective therapy approach.
A full
psychological report is sent following the first appointment. This confirms a
diagnosis where relevant, outlines the key reasons that maintain the problem,
the recommended therapy plan and proposed number of sessions.
All therapy
sessions are held by video link and supported by our own clinical material and
resources.
Specialist
therapy for OCD, Trauma, Panic and relationship problems typically range
between 6-20 sessions and are built around the needs of each individual.

Our
standard charge for a 60 minute appointment with follow-up written notes and
resources is €145. In return
for this, we provide a structured psychological assessment, 60 minute
appointments, written session summaries, therapy resources and end of therapy
booster sessions. All clients also receive a free Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
workbook and specialist materials for OCD, trauma, panic or relationship
problems.
